The Big Heart 5K is now in it’s 4th year and since it started in 2008 has had brilliant support from both Reds and Blues supporters.
Some of you may not know but the event was set up in memory of Everton and England legend Alan Ball. Despite the blue bias in the event the reds fans have been just as supportive and competitive – coming out on top by winning two of the first three races!
As you would expect there is always keen rivalry when Everton and Liverpool come together and the Big Heart 5K is no exception. The pressure is on the blue half of the city this year to pull the score back to 2 – 2 so COYB!!
