Race Day

Whenever Liverpool and Everton get together there is always a fantastic atmosphere and on the morning of the run the start area is a sea of Blue and Red race T- Shirts.

This really does set the tone for the day as the keen and competitive runners mingle before the gun goes off at 11.00am.

If you have not taken part in the Big Heart 5K before then please note that everyone takes part in their race T shirt which denotes their allegiance!!

Shortly before the start the fans come together in nervous anticipation – not one of them secretly wishing to let the side down and as the clock strikes 11.00am the race is on and the gloves are off… who will come out on top this year??
